We are experts in the design and install of residential geothermal systems. We specialize in both horizontal and vertical closed loops with either forced air or radiant heat applications. Envirotech Geothermal was founded by Michelle Ball in 2006. Michelle holds a Science degree as well as a teaching degree, after working in the water well testing and drilling industry for several years she was introduced to geothermal heating and cooling by her employer. Shortly after taking the Level II Geothermal Specialist Training Michelle recognized a need for a Geothermal provider in the Red Deer and Camrose area and started Envirotech Geothermal. The company serves Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House, Sylvan Lake, Lacombe, Innisfail, Wetaskiwin, Camrose and everywhere in between.

Over the past 3 years Envirotech has worked on a variety of projects including both horizontal and vertical loop fields. As a result we are able to design and install highly efficient and environmentally friendly heating and cooling systems in any home including those with very small yards. In our most recent project, a new build of 2700 sq ft with a 1600 sq ft garage, we installed 3 heat pumps using a combination of drilling and horizontal excavating. As the company began to expand Michelle's brother Devon Winczura joined the team. Devon is a pipe fitter by trade bringing with him years of drilling experience combined with a good understanding of the drawbacks of conventional boiler systems. Growing up on a farm near Viking, Alberta has given Michelle and Devon a skill set and work ethic that allows them to work very well together.
